Terms and Conditions of Sale — ecufile.net
Version: 2026-07-10
1. What you are buying — IMPORTANT
Every product sold on ecufile.net is a downloadable computer file (a binary/software file). We DO NOT sell ECUs, control units, immobilizers, dashboards, modules or any physical hardware. Nothing will be shipped to your address. If you expect to receive a physical part, do not place the order.
2. Customer requirements
Our products are intended for professional or technically skilled users. You must own the tools required to read and write ECU memories (programmers, flashing tools, soldering equipment where needed). ecufile.net does not provide those tools nor on-site assistance. For "procedure" products you must have previously read your ORIGINAL file from the vehicle, as stated on each product page.
3. Digital delivery
Files are delivered exclusively by digital download, immediately after payment confirmation or, for DTC and advanced procedures, once the automatic processing of the file you uploaded has finished. The download link is shown on the order page and sent to the e-mail address provided at checkout.
4. Refund policy
As digital content delivered immediately, no refund is possible once the file has been generated or downloaded, including orders placed by mistake. By accepting these terms at checkout you expressly consent to the immediate supply of the digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal (art. 103 m) of the Spanish Consumer Act, Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007). If a delivered file is demonstrably defective for the exact vehicle/ECU stated in the product, we will correct it or supply a replacement file.
5. No warranty on the vehicle
Working on ECU memories carries inherent risk. You are solely responsible for reading, backing up and writing your ECU, and for the result of installing any file. ecufile.net does not guarantee the condition or the behaviour of the vehicle after flashing. Certain files (e.g. power tuning, DTC/EGR/DPF related) may be intended for off-road or competition use only; verifying legal compliance in your country is your responsibility.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of ecufile.net for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
7. Intellectual property
Files are licensed for use on the vehicle/ECU for which they were purchased. Reselling, redistributing or publishing the files or the methods they implement is forbidden without written authorisation.
8. Acceptance, applicable law and jurisdiction
Placing an order requires ticking the acceptance checkbox at checkout; the date and version of the terms accepted are stored with the order. These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Granada (Spain), without prejudice to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.
